Hygiene Standards

Umbrella Transfers priority is the safety of chauffeurs and passengers.  COVID-19 as well known as Coronavirus represents a serious threat to our health. Therefore we decided to make basic measures to combat the spread of this virus.

From 23 March 2020, all our chauffeurs are required to meet our hygiene standards.

All chauffeurs of Umbrella Transfers, will provide for the passengers:

  • hand sanitiser
  • single-use tissue

They sanitise all high-touch surfaces after every journey:

  • door handles
  • seat adjusters
  • plastic and metal components of seatbelts
  • phone chargers
  • internal passenger door handles and armrests

This is done by using antibacterial/alcohol wipes, after every journey.

All chauffeurs sanitise leather and soft surfaces using spray disinfectant and wipe down the surface with single-use cloth.  They do this after every journey.

The interior of the vehicle is sanitised twice daily – at the start of the day and at the end – by wiping down all surfaces using disinfectant spray and single use cloth.

All disinfectant sprays and cloths are stored in the trunk.

All contaminated materials are disposed in sealed bags after each journey.

Liquid/gel hand sanitiser is being used frequently by our chauffeurs.

IMPORTANT!

Please make sure you are wearing a face covering at all times inside the vehicle. Your face cover must fully shield your nose and mouth.

Chauffeurs avoid any physical contact with passengers, unless assisting elderly.

Our chauffeurs will continue to assist passengers with luggage, but ensure they disinfect their hands once the luggage is safely placed in the trunk.

All our chauffeurs must contact the Office if they believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19 either through their work, or in their private life so we can make extra steps to avoid exposure.
